I'm wary of what I read because they make reference to Version 2.9.2 of WordPress as what they provide with Click-n-Build. Elsewhere it states that a number of themes and plugins are part of the WordPress package they install.
I would recommend doing your own install, rather than 1and1's Click-n-Build. You will learn some things that will come in handy later.
But, you should first be checking that your 1and1 hosting plan has enough PHP memory allocated for WordPress to even work. I've run into some 1and1 plans worldwide where this is a problem. Even 32MB is tight for some plugins and themes.
