deegeorgette on "AT&T Uverse + PHP"

Hello....
I'm trying to install Wordpress on my Win XP Home system. An error message that I get (not verbatim) is that my service provider (At&t Uverse) needs to enable Php. I called them and they said that they don't support or use Php. Does that mean I can't install Wordpress on my system?
