I'm sorry, I should have been more clear. My root directory contains a static site with a WordPress blog linked to it. There's no problem there.
But now I'm in the process of switching over to have my entire site contained in WordPress. But I don't want it in my root directory until I've completed and tested it. Therefore I created a sub domain (WP.ce-marketing.biz) diercted to the subfolder "ce-marketing.biz/WP."
This is where I was having all the problems.
In any case, I contacted my host provider about the problem as well. They said "Your Wordpress was inaccessible. I've deleted and re-created the XXXXX database. Please now re-install Wordpress."
So that fixed the problem.
Thanks for your comments.
