JoLouH on "'...wp-admin/install.php' goes to domain registrar page"

Hi,
Would be really grateful for some support - am using Wordpress for the first time and am feeling a bit stuck and bewildered!
I've followed the install guidance to the letter (I think!) and have managed to install File Zilla and upload the Wordpress files. I have reached the step which tells me to open my browser and go to http://www.example.com/wp-admin/install.php and when I do I get the holding page of my domain registrar (Easy Space). Does anyone know what it likely to be wrong with what I've done?
